She was rescued just in the nick of time – this young pup was about to be shot simply because she was a stray! When Bella came to Rescued Tails she immediately went into a foster home to give her time to adjust. None of us could believe how sweet and gentle Bella was after having been through such an ordeal. There was something very special about this little girl. One day while we were shopping for goodies in a pet store, Bella walked over to a little boy and quietly sat next to him and gently leaned on him. We knew at that moment Bella was a good candidate for therapy dog work. Sharon, from Hospice of the Twin Cities, contacted us and came to meet Bella. Sharon knew right away that Bella indeed had a very special gift to offer. Bella now lives the good life with Sharon and her family (including two other canine buddies) and has completed her training to be a therapy dog.
