Hunter is a young lab-mix who is looking for a new family. His previous family moved out of their home that was foreclosed upon and left him in the fenced-in yard to fend for himself. He stayed there for two weeks, and was being fed by a neighbor, but eventually jumped the fence so he could roam the neighborhood. He was brought to a local shelter, and they asked us if we could help him. Hunter is a large dog with lots of energy. He has not had much training and he needs to work on his manners, and he has some aggression issues with his food/water bowl that we are currently working on with him. Hunter absolutely loves to play with tennis balls. It's very entertaining to watch him run around in circles with a tennis ball, as he jumps up and flails his front legs, as if trying to catch it. Hunter does great in a kennel, is house-trained and crate-trained. He seems to do well with other dogs and is okay with cats.
