Kirby is a young dog who was impounded as a stray. He was never claimed by his owners, so now he is looking for a new home. Kirby is a real people-dog and loves everyone. He is an active dog who loves to play with his toys, and enjoys a game of fetch out in the yard.  He is crate-trained and house-trained. Kirby enjoys playing with other dogs, and he met some cats in his temporary foster home and really wanted to chase them, but seemingly in a playful manner.

Kirby is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so he is now being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, he will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on his commands and manners with his handlers.
