Russian Blue / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
I have been ADOPTED!!!!! Meet Donna and Rita. One year ago, in July, a Blue Russian was brought to a local humane society. With in days she gave birth to four kittens, 2 male and 2 female. They were raised with mom and several other kittens in foster care. One by one the kittens and their mom were adopted out - except for sweet Rita and Donna - they waited patiently. They started to get a few sniffles, and sneezed, and their foster family was told by the humane society that the kittens could not return to the shelter nor be on their adoptable list. The kittens had no way of being adopted, it seemed hopeless until Rescued Tails said they could be a part of their family until finding homes of their own. They have been in the same foster family since they were born and have become great friends with the other dogs and cats that live there. Rita is outgoing, will seek you out to rest on your lap, and enjoys to be scratched. Donna is a super playful girl who will get into her fits and follow you everywhere weaving in and out of your feet. Donna and Rita love the space of a house to be the active cats they are and over time both have begun to bloom a very soft side to them. They will seek their foster parents out for some cuddle time on the couch or love to lie on their cat tree watching birds at the feeder. Donna has become the homes insect exterminator by never letting one get past her. Both girls are great entertainment and make their foster family giggle through out the day as they flip through the air when they catch each other during a game of hide-and-seek. It takes a little time for them to warm up to strangers, but they are worth every second! We are looking for a forever home to adopt the girls together.
