Mickey has found rescue!

Mickey is about 3.5 year old neutered male mix weighing around 70 pounds. He is super sweet and will follow you like a shadow/lean on you/sleep with you every night and snuggle all day long if you let him. He loves to play - he really likes to go in the lake and play Frisbee. He is high energy but knows commands like sit, shake, lay down, stay, and spin. He is completely house trained and gets along well with my cat and got along great with my parents' two dogs (one large female lab and a mini dachshund).
He would do best in a home without children because of his size and energy. He can be a little possessive of his toys or around people he's snuggling with if there are people he isn't used to around. He has grabbed the hands of strangers before (never broke skin), and I've never actually seen it happen. He does bark when someone comes into the house but will stop as soon as he sees who it is/gets introduced. This passed weekend he met around 10 new people at a gathering and he did great with all of them - some males some females, all adults. He just played frisbee and walked from person to person, soaking up all the attention. He is by no standards mean or outwardly aggressive, he just needs someone who will be aware that he did have a tough upbringing before I adopted him and so he does have some fear based behaviors but he has grown leaps and bounds socially and has great potential. I have never had an issue with him as long as I properly introduced him to new people.
I've contacted numerous shelters and nobody has room or is willing to take him and I move in a few days (short notice but I have been searching for almost a month and had zero luck so far). I can't afford to get out of my current lease and try to come up with the funds for a new deposit/first months rent anywhere else.
