I have been adopted!

Benny is a very sweet and friendly young dog who has been bounced around quite a bit lately, but has settled in nicely at his latest foster "home" at the Rush City Correctional Facility. Benny previously lived in a home that ran a daycare, so we believe he is good with children. He did not have any training when we first met him, but thanks to his handlers and some yummy treats, Benny is now learning basic commands. He will probably also have some fun tricks up his sleeve too. Benny is house-trained and crate-trained. He enjoys playing with toys and has made some dog friends at the correctional facility, most notably a dog named Haley. However, Benny is selective about which dogs he likes, and can be reactive to new dogs. We are looking for a home who has some experience in working with reactive dogs.

***Benny is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so he is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility in MN. While there, he will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on his commands with his handlers.
