I am in my forever home!

Autumn is a  mature yellow lab who we suspect was used primarily for breeding purposes. She is very shy and gets nervous when she's around new people and objects, but is starting to develop more confidence. She prefers a quiet environment and seeks refuge in her crate when the need arises. Autumn absolutely loves to be outside, no matter what the weather conditions are. She's not much of a toy-player, but is satisfied to sniff out all the different smells she can find. Autumn is fine with other dogs as long as they respect her space. She loves to be petted and brushed.

Autumn is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, so she is being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, she will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers. They will also continue to help Autumn develop her confidence.
